The Center for Journalistic Investigations, trying to get up-to-date information about the Zhuravko case, turned to the SBU with an information request, however, in violation of the law on access to public information, no response was provided within the time period established by law. Familiarization with the rulings of the courts, which were adopted in court case No. 766/7392/16-k, leads to the conclusion that the criminal proceedings opened by the SBU against A. Zhuravko have undergone changes in terms of qualifying the crime of which he is suspected. Until October 2015, the rulings indicate that the Investigation Department of the SBU Department is conducting a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings No.. 258-5 ch. 1 Criminal Code of Ukraine (financing of terrorism). Investigating this particular crime, the investigators gained access to the bank accounts of all Zhuravko's enterprises and found that in the period from April to November 2014, more than half a million hryvnias were transferred from them to the accounts of enterprises located in the occupied territory of Donbass.. The following is a quote from the court ruling dated October 2, 2015: “In the course of the pre-trial investigation, it was established that in the period from April to November 2014, a citizen of Ukraine OSOBA_2, acting illegally, using enterprises controlled by him, intentionally, with the aim of material and financial support for terrorist organizations” Donetsk People's Republic” and “Luhansk People's Republic” (hereinafter DPR and LPR), without the intention of creating legal consequences, without the actual transfer of goods from the seller to the buyer, i.e.. “LPR” and located in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. So, in the period from April to November 2014, OSOBA_2, from the accounts of SE SIPI AQUA, SE SIPI Auto, SE SIPI Electro, LLC Stroy CITY, TOB Khleb CITY, KP Oleshki, OAO Tsyurupinsky garment factory “Yunost” and LLC “Medical Center” Med CITY “to the accounts of LLC DTEK Rovenkianthracite” (Rovenki, Luhansk region), LLC “DETK Sverdlovanthracite” (city. And the following decisions are variations with the refusals of the investigating judges at the request of the SBU investigators to allow the detention of Zhuravko “for the purpose of participating in the consideration of the petition for the application of a measure of restraint in the form of detention.” Argument of the judges – Zhuravko is not put on the international wanted list. As practice shows, according to this article of the CCU, Zhuravka is not threatened with a red card by Interpol – they believe that those suspected of committing crimes against the security of the state can be pursued by political views. Even more confusing is the agenda for summoning Zhuravko for interrogation on August 29 and September 31, the text of which is posted on the SBU website.. However, at the beginning of November, there were changes in the registration data of the main company, Union of Initiative Able-Bodied Disabled Persons LLC: Aleksey Zhuravko was removed from the founders, his share is now registered to Vladislav Cherkesov, and the authorized capital increased 8 times – from 10 to 80 million hryvnias. Activists doubt that these changes mean Zhuravko's loss of control over the business, because Cherkesov is no stranger to him. He assures that, according to the documents, it is he who is the sole owner of the enterprise, because he bought it from Zhuravka, and also by power of attorney, which the fugitive issued in Russia for his wife Apostolid. The next court session was supposed to take place on October 7, but it was postponed. We managed to talk with Vladislav Cherkesov, who, according to the state register, is now the ultimate beneficiary and head of SIPI LLC with a share of UAH 76 million. Cherkesov said that in the past he really was a partner of Alexei Zhuravko, but they have not had a joint business for more than ten years. He assures that SIPI bought out a share of 95% of the charter because of an intermediary on legal grounds. “I own a controlling stake, I am the legal owner in all legal bases, and the party provides (to the court – ed.) some documents, but I think that our law enforcement agencies will figure it out,” says Vladislav Cherkesov. From everything it follows that the assets of Aleksey Zhuravko were either sold several times, or this is a scheme according to which one of the parties wants to actually “throw” the other. Light on the situation should be shed by law enforcement officers who will simply check the authenticity and legalize the powers of attorney that the parties are appealing. By a court decision, the property of SIPI LLC was seized in October. But not in the framework of the criminal proceedings that the SBU is investigating in relation to Zhuravko, who is wanted on suspicion of a crime against the state, but to ensure the storage of real estate during the legal red tape of his partners.

Separatist Aleksei Zhuravko stripped of title of honorary resident of Tsyurupinsk

The issue of removing the honorary title from Zhuravko was included in the agenda of the session of the Tsyurupinsk City Council, Kherson News reports.

The profile commission approved this draft decision and, as a result, 19 deputies out of 26 voted for it.

In addition, the session “turned around” and 5 land plots in the city center along Samartsa Street, which are located behind the White Acacia, since these plots are registered with relatives and security guards of Alexei Zhuravko. Based on the voting results, a temporary deputy commission was created to study this issue, which included the leaders of all factions of the city council, as well as members of the land commission.

Conclusions:

Despite the fact that Zhuravko left Ukraine in 2015, his intermediaries continued to do business in the Kherson region and continue their anti-Ukrainian activities. Now that the Kherson region has been occupied, Aleksey has returned to his homeland and is spreading Kremlin slogans.
